What is Shopee Mall

Shopee Mall is a special category on Shopee reserved for official brand stores and distributors appointed by the brand owner.

For buyers, the Mall label means three guarantees: authentic products, returns within the period set by Shopee, and a seller whose identity has been verified. That's why Mall stores are often chosen even when their prices are slightly higher than those of regular stores.

For sellers, Mall status changes the store's position in search results, opens access to Mall-only campaigns, and builds trust with buyers who have never shopped at your store. In return, Shopee charges a per-transaction commission that depends on the product category, and sets service standards that must be maintained.

Mall isn't a reward for stores that are already big. Mall is verification that you own, or hold the rights to, the brand you sell.

Requirements to become a Shopee Mall store

The four groups of requirements Shopee checks when an application comes in:

• Business legality: business entity documents and an NPWP (tax ID) whose name matches the trademark owner
• Store performance that meets Shopee's standards, especially ratings, response speed, and order cancellation rate
• The ability to meet Mall service standards, including the authentic product guarantee and the return policy that applies on Shopee Mall

The first requirement is the most common roadblock, because trademark registration with DJKI takes its own time and can't be sped up by completing other documents.
